Important cannabis disclosures
By accessing or using Celestial Connect (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
You must be at least 21 years old and legally able to enter contracts to use age-gated cannabis portions of the Platform. Additional identity or business checks may apply to particular account features. By using the Platform you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that your use complies with applicable law.
Celestial Connect is a discovery and industry technology platform. For regulated cannabis and ingestible hemp/CBD listings, Celestial Connect provides information and routing only and does not process the regulated transaction, take possession of products, or determine final eligibility. Eligible non-regulated merchandise and platform services may use Celestial Connect checkout. Sellers and retailers remain responsible for their licensing, products, taxes, labeling, packaging, eligibility checks, payment, and fulfillment where applicable.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
Users may browse educational information and seller-submitted listings subject to age and jurisdiction controls. Celestial Connect does not determine whether a regulated cannabis or ingestible hemp/CBD transaction is lawful for a particular user. Final eligibility, payment, taxes, fulfillment, and delivery are handled by the applicable retailer. Eligible non-regulated purchases may use Celestial Connect checkout.
Sellers may be required to submit business, identity, and license information for review before listings are activated. Submission or admin review does not by itself constitute regulator verification. By listing products, a seller agrees to the following Seller Agreement summary:
Celestial Connect checkout is limited to eligible non-regulated merchandise and platform services. Where Stripe is used, card data is handled by Stripe and is not stored by us. Regulated cannabis and ingestible hemp/CBD transactions are completed with the applicable retailer under its own payment, tax, compliance, and fulfillment procedures.
You agree not to: use the Platform if under 21 or where prohibited by law; sell or attempt to sell cannabis where not licensed or where the buyer's jurisdiction prohibits it; misrepresent licensure or identity; list unlawful, mislabeled, or untested products; circumvent geo-fencing or verification; abuse the rewards or referral programs; or infringe others' rights.
You retain ownership of content you submit (listings, forum posts, petitions, profiles) and grant Celestial Connect a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and operate on that content. You represent that you have the rights to submit it and that it complies with law and these Terms.
Participation in rewards and referral programs is subject to the program rules. Points have no cash value unless stated. We may modify, suspend, or terminate the programs, and may revoke points obtained through fraud or abuse.
The Platform and all listings are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that any product is legal, safe, effective, or accurately described. Cannabis products are not evaluated by the FDA; statements about products have not been evaluated by the FDA and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Sellers' statements are their own.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Celestial Connect and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from transactions between buyers and sellers, seller non-compliance, product defects, delivery failures, or unlawful sales. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid us through the Platform in the preceding twelve months.
You agree to indemnify and hold Celestial Connect harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your content, your transactions, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Before filing a formal claim, you and Celestial Connect agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days after written notice is received at celestialconnectc2@gmail.com. The notice should describe the dispute and the requested resolution.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, these Terms and disputes arising from the Platform will be governed by the laws of the U.S. state in which the Platform operator has its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If the parties do not resolve a dispute informally, either party may pursue the claim in a court of competent jurisdiction. Any future agreement requiring arbitration, a class-action waiver, or a specific venue will apply only after the Terms are updated with the applicable procedure and users receive any notice required by law.
We may suspend or terminate access at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms or applicable law. Sellers may close listings; buyers and sellers remain responsible for obligations incurred before termination.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
